Carmaker Nissan has commissioned a one-off electric conversion of the iconic Bluebird – the first car off the factory’s Sunderland production line in 1986. The project car, called “Newbird”, celebrates 35 years of the Sunderland plant, and combines the first vehicle off the line with the newest.
