When Bill Hader and Anna Kendrick teamed up for Noelle in 2019, no one thought the Disney + movie would breed a real-life romance. According to an anonymous source speaking to PEOPLE mag, the pair became a couple a year after the movie and had been going strong since then. Here’s everything we know from the source’s mouth.
The Alleged Relationship
Although the actors were friends long before the Disney + Christmas film, they didn’t form a relationship until sometime in 2020. The source said, "Anna has been dating Bill quietly for over a year… they’re both private people, and with the pandemic, it was easy to keep it quiet."
Although PEOPLE reached out to their representatives for confirmations, they declined to respond. It’s no surprise there since the source alleged that they love their privacy – that bit must be true if we haven’t heard of this relationship until now.

A little over a year ago (the alleged length of Anna and Bill’s romance), Bill Hader, 43, broke up with his then-girlfriend Rachel Bilson, 40. He and Rachel dated seven years after appearing in the rom-com The To-Do List in 2013. At the time of the movie, Bill and Maggie Carey were still married.
Anna, who’s never been married, doesn’t believe in the romantic concept of "The One." She once said her film Love Life accurately depicted her romantic life. The Pitch Perfect actress said, "People come into your life and grow, and they change you, and what you learn from them might be really positive, or it might be negative."

While doing the press runs for Noelle, Anna and Bill, who played siblings, gushed about each other’s performance. "Anna’s been amazing. She’s a great performer. She’s just such a strong performer, and that’s always great because it raises your game, you know what I mean," Bill said.
Anna also said, "Bill Hader and I play brother and sister. Santa’s out dad, and Nick, played by Bill, is next in line…." She also reminisced on the day Bill’s children joined them on set, "that was so magical to see them, like skate everywhere. I was just like, ‘this is – it’s magic!’"
