Damian Warner of London, Ont., will enter the final heptathlon event in second place at the world athletics indoor championships after surrendering the lead to Simon Ehammer of Switzerland in pole vault on Saturday. The men’s 1,000 metres is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
