Olympian Hailey Langland Flaunts Legs In Activewear

Since Olympian Hailey Langland won a Bronze medal at the X Games in Aspen, 2016, she's solidified her position as a star snowboarder. She started her discipline at five and continues to thrive years after. The 21-year-old finished 11th (slopestyle) and 12th (Big Air) in the just-concluded Winter Olympics – a redemption after her wipeout in PyeongChang.

Here's how Hailey keeps fit in and out of competition season.

She Stays Hydrated

As you can see in this video, Hailey can't get enough bottled water when she practices her runs. The Olympian said she loved a water jug that helped her "stay hydrated on [the] hill and off. I love the 40oz IceFlow Jug, [and] I don't go anywhere without it." She ensures it's handy for a sip during her break time since it gets dehydrating on the snowy slopes.

She Eats Well

Eating a balanced diet is a no-brainer for an athlete who needs to build her body muscle. She wrote that a Chipotle chicken bowl is her go-to after training all day. It helps her recoup all the lost energy spent snowboarding, and it's a tasty meal too.

As proven on her Instagram page, Hailey can also throw down in the kitchen when she has to. She goes to the Farmer's Market to pick out produce herself.

The athlete also adds energy drinks to her meal circuits for an extra boost when she's feeling low on energy. Her favorite Rocket drinks are Organic and Pure Zero.

She also jokes about being "always hungry" and added that when she's eating is her purest form. She loves comfort food as much as she appreciates healthy meals.

She Prioritizes Wellness

Sports isn't only about strength, as we've learned from many athletes, and the same goes for snowboarding. Hailey keeps her mind right by practicing Yoga because it also helps keep her muscles flexible through poses like Pigeon, Downward Dog, and leaning back in Warrior. That way, she feels lightweight in the air ad can perform all her stunts without her body sabotaging her.

"Learning to embrace fears, injuries, and everything in between.. Because being well takes practice."She Keeps Her Mind Sharp With Books

Hailey admitted to SELF that she put pressure on herself in PyeongChang and felt like she was let down when she wiped out. She did the competition for herself this year, proving an intelligent decision. Instead of obsessing over a game that hadn't come yet, Hailey spent some time reading books to keep her mind sharp.
