The Maple Leafs have bolstered their defence, trading for veteran NHLer and Toronto native Mark Giordano, the first captain of the expansion Seattle Kraken. They also acquired Winnipeg’s 2022 third-round pick from Vancouver for blue-liner Travis Dermott.
