Taking statins at the wrong time of day can ‘significantly’ increase cholesterol – warning

STATINS reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering high cholesterol levels. To optimise the benefits, it’s recommended you take statins at a particular time of the day. One study even suggests you can increase your cholesterol levels if you take the cholesterol-lowering drug at a certain point of the day.
