Warning: low survival rate in the UK as children are being diagnosed with cancer too late

CHILDHOOD cancers are being diagnosed too late in the UK leading to worse survival rates than comparable countries, experts have warned. Around 85 youngsters are diagnosed with Wilms’ tumour – the most common children’s kidney cancer – every year, most under the age of five.
