JAMES CAAN, who has died at the age of 82, has been paid tribute to by the estate of John Wayne. The Godfather actor co-starred with the Western legend in 1966’s El Dorado, where Duke went out of his way to wind up the young actor before the pair became firm friends. One prank even saw the Hollywood star fill the young actor’s dressing room entirely with garbage.
