ALTHOUGH the Covid jab is very effective at reducing the risk of severe disease, it doesn’t protect you from catching the virus altogether. What’s worse, the vaccines don’t seem to be the best fit for the current wave fuelled by Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5. Many people are reporting reinfection with these subvariants so being able to identify the symptoms is key.
