In Saturday’s women’s indoor mile at the Millrose Games in New York, Lucia Stafford of Toronto ran 4:22.72 for a third personal-best time in as many races this season and less than a second shy of the 1,500-metre automatic entry standard for the World Athletics Championships in August.
