Canada’s Austin Smeenk wins men’s T34 400m in world record time at Para athletics event

Austin Smeenk of Oakville, Ont., crossed the finish line in a world record time of 48.38 seconds to win the men’s T34 400 metres at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix on Friday in Nottwil, Switzerland.
