Despite Israel’s daytime pause in fighting, hope for aid still fragile around critical border crossing

Israel has said its tactical pause around the Kerem Shalom border crossing with Gaza is its “creative solution” to get aid into the strip while the crossing in Rafah remains inaccessible, but aid organizations say it still doesn’t meet the demand on the ground.
