How life outside swimming has revived 7-time Olympic medallist Oleksiak’s love for sport

Swimmer Penny Oleksiak reacts after competing in the women's 100-metre freestyle at the Canadian Olympic trials in Toronto on May 17, 2024.

Since leaving her “most challenging” Olympics in Paris, Penny Oleksiak has climbed 19,000 feet to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, done other charity work and attended her first Bills football game in Buffalo. “Trying to have a life outside of swimming is important,” she says.
