In a rare intervention the Queen last night offered an olive branch to Harry and Meghan but raised questions over their race claims. The Palace issued a 61-word statement in response to the couple’s bombshell TV interview, declaring “that while some recollections may vary” the “whole family is saddened” to learn of their “challenging last few years.”
