The 30-year-old rapper and new mom, quiet on both Instagram and TikTok aside from the odd late-night post and show-off of son Onyx this month, today delivered a solid confirmation that new music is on the way, and she picked some eye-catching footage to promote it. Posting for her 14.4 million followers, the “Dance Like Nobody’s Watching” hit-maker showed a late-night setting and plenty of light, plus herself.

Iggy, keeping her drama out of it, updated on Saturday showing a video clip that may well be part of a new music video. The Grammy nominee showed an abandoned and empty gas station all lit up, with a huge “Kitty Juice” drink seen above a structure overlooking two pumps.

Of course, with the video directly following one showing clips from new music video “Sip it,” fans knew what was up. The fluorescent-lit footage bringing Iggy with back-up dancers and a late-night crowd, was captioned: “Just one sip.” Meanwhile, the gas station video confirmed a release date of April 2.

Iggy, who has collaborated with stars including 39-year-old Britney Spears and artist Tinashe, seems to be bringing it solo this time around. That, in itself, is applicable to the rapper, who has been busy trashing her baby daddy on social media.
“Imagine not flying out your family on Christmas but you have the girl you cheated on my my entire pregnancy at your album party and magically me and my son can’t come for Christmas any more? TRASH,” she wrote after Christmas.

November 2020 saw Iggy making headlines for revealing that she was dropping insane amounts of weight, and without even trying. The bedtime pizza lover, per her TikTok, took to Twitter, writing:
“Any other moms who can’t stop dropping weight after having a baby? (Not a brag, genuinely wanna hear if you had this happen),” the Aussie tweeted, adding:
“I don’t try/want to lose weight but it’s literally just shedding off me, is it hormonal? Should I be concerned? 20lbs lighter than pre baby and counting.”
