BORIS Johnson called for “common sense” as he axed major Covid rules. The Prime Minister said people would finally be free to hug, to drink inside pubs and stay overnight again, adding: “Your efforts have so visibly paid off.” He called on the public to enjoy the hard-won freedoms responsibly, after zero virus deaths were recorded in most of the UK.
