Django Lovett hit the automatic Tokyo qualifying standard in high jump on Sunday, clearing a personal-best 2.33 metres at the Canadian Olympic track and field trials in Montreal. Mike Mason, who won the previous three times at nationals, jumped 2.29 to place second.
