Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal is one of the NBA superstars who are frequently mentioned in trade rumors. No matter how many times the Wizards say that they have no interest in trading him and undergoing a full-scale rebuild, Beal continues to be linked to teams that are in dire need of additional star power to boost their chances of winning the NBA championship title next season.

Warriors Stars Urging Front Office To Trade For Help
The Warriors may be expected to have the healthy trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green back in the 2021-22 NBA season, but they must be aware that they need to make major roster upgrades to have a better chance of reclaiming their throne and reviving their dynasty next year. According to Marcus Thompson of The Athletic, Curry, Thompson, and Green are urging the Warriors’ front office to trade their two first-rounders in the upcoming draft to get someone who can help immediately.
Thompson added that the Warriors’ superstars want the team to trade for Beal should he and the Wizards part ways in the 2021 offseason.
Potential Trade Package To Acquire Bradley Beal
Bringing a player of Beal’s caliber to Golden State would come with a huge price. To convince the Wizards to engage in a blockbuster deal this summer, the Warriors must be prepared to pay the king’s ransom.
According to Mike Cruz of ClutchPoints, the best trade package that the Warriors could offer to the Wizards in exchange for Beal would include last year’s No. 2 pick James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins, the No. 7 and No. 14 picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, and a lottery-protected 2022 first-round pick.
Bradley Beal Completes Warriors’ Superteam
Giving all those assets for Beal should be a no-brainer for the Warriors, especially if they are serious about returning to the NBA Finals and capturing the Larry O’Brien Trophy next season. Beal’s potential arrival in Golden State would tremendously boost their performance on the offensive end of the floor and allow them to form another superteam with Curry, Thompson, and Green.
Beal would give the Warriors one of the league’s best active scorers, as well as a decent playmaker and an elite three-point shooter. Last season, he averaged 31.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 34.9 percent from beyond the arc, per ESPN. With his ability to excel in an off-ball capacity, Beal wouldn’t have a hard time making himself with Curry, Thompson, and Green and familiarizing himself with Coach Steve Kerr’s system.
Wizards Obtain Assets To Rebuild
The proposed blockbuster trade would be worth exploring for the Wizards, especially if they don’t have a realistic plan of building a legitimate title contender around Beal and Russell Westbrook this summer. Instead of suffering another mediocre season, sending Beal to Golden State would enable them to get the necessary assets they need to rebuild their team.
Wiseman and Wiggins could join Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, and Isaac Bonga and form the core of the next title-contending team that the Wizards would try to build in Washington, while the three first-round picks would allow them to add more talented prospects to their roster.
