Traci Lynn Johnson has been spotted hanging out with the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast for the past couple of months. However, it wasn’t until Dolores Catania’s ex-husband, Frank Catania, appeared on the Let’s Get Raw with Rori podcast that her role on the show was made official.
After getting to know Johnson and Barber throughout production on the upcoming episodes of the Bravo reality series’ 12th season, Frank told listeners of the show that Johnson had joined the cast.
Dolores Catania’s Ex-Husband Is A Fan Favorite
“I think on our show, the men are involved much more than any other franchise, and I think a lot has to do with the fact is that we are friends outside of the show itself,” Frank said. “And this year, Luis [Ruelas, Teresa Giudice’s boyfriend] joined us and also Tiki Barber. Tiki Barber joined us, because his wife is now on the show, and both of them are great additions.”
As fans well know, the husbands of New Jersey play a much bigger role than the husbands of other Real Housewives franchises.
Traci Johnson Shares Two Children With Husband Tiki Barber
According to a report from Heavy, Johnson has been married to Barber, formerly of the New York Giants football team, since 2012 and the couple shares six children, including his four older children from his previous marriage and the two kids they welcomed together.
As fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey may have noticed, Johnson has been seen with the rest of the women of the cast on and off since early June, when filming on season 12 first began.
Traci Lynn Johnson Attended Margaret Josephs’ Pride Party In June
According to a report shared by The Sun in mid-June, Johnson was seen in a ton of social media photos and videos that month after attending a Pride party thrown by Margaret Josephs.
"Tiki Barber’s wife Traci Lynn filmed with the cast at Margaret Josephs’ Pride party in Englewood, NJ on Tuesday night,” the source said at the time. “The party was shot for season 12, Traci is being tested out to see how she fits in with the other women, she’s been filming scenes.”
Traci Lynn Johnson May Be Feuding With Jennifer Aydin
More recently, Johnson and Barber were seen showcasing their sporty sides as they participated in a softball game benefitting the Maimonides Hospital on Friday, August 13.
In one video shared by RHONJ Obsessed on Instagram during the game, Johnson was seen having what may have been a "heated convo" with Jennifer Aydin.
While there has been no word on when the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will begin airing on Bravo, it will likely premiere sometime late this year or early next year.
