Crystal Kung-Minkoff appeared on the August 26 episode of Betches’ Mention It All podcast. And, during the show, she opened up about her recent reconciliation with Sutton Stracke, who she’s been seen feuding with on and off throughout the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Sutton called me and we talked it out and she said, ‘no more…I don’t want to ever talk about it again,’" Crystal recalled of her conversation with her cast mate, which took place off-camera.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff And Sutton Stracke Butted Heads Over A Number Of Issues
"And I said, ‘When you say we’re never talking about it again, you do not talk about it again. Like it’s a commitment.’ And she said, ‘I’m committed,’" Crystal continued. "I said, ‘Okay, then we’re going to move forward.’ And we’re still working on it.”
After first going to bat over racial tensions, Crystal was seen accusing Sutton of violating her by walking into her bedroom before she was able to get dressed.
Despite their ugly moments on-screen together, Crystal and Sutton were able to come back together and give their friendship another shot.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff Initially Turned Down ‘RHOBH’
Looking back on the moment she was first approached about appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal admitted she was initially unwilling to open her life up to the cameras of Bravo.
“It was a text, ‘Are you interested in doing [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills]?’ I just wrote back, ‘No.’ COVID had just hit, and we just went on lockdown, so Rob was like, ‘Take a call. What are you going to do the rest of the year? You know, nothing,’" she recalled.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff Felt She Was ‘Catfishing’ Producers
Following the advice of her husband, Rob Minkoff, Crystal obliged.
"Im like “Okay.’ And then it sort of just kept going on, and I was like ‘I don’t know and I feel bad talking to them because I don’t want to do it’…It’s like dating and I am not interested, and I’m catfishing," she shared.
As for her first date with husband Rob Minkoff, Crystal said that after agreeing to let the director take her out, she learned they would be attending the Finding Nemo premiere.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff Didn’t Want To Walk The Carpet With Rob
"When we got there, he was like, ‘you can’t walk the carpet with me.’ I was like, ‘I don’t want to walk the carpet with you.’ There was this massive party afterwards and all the table tops had coral reefs as the centerpieces and they had all these stuffed animals of Nemo and Dory, and I was stealing them," she recalled.
