Dove Cameron needed no words – and she used none – to stun her Instagram followers yesterday. The 25-year-old Descendants actress and singer is fast approaching 1 million likes for going makeup-free in bed and with only sheets covering her, posting low-key selfies for her 44.8 million followers during her tour downtime.
Dove, who has been jetting from NYC to LA on tour and recently opened up about her mental health, kept all agendas clear – and fans loved the photos.
Much-Needed Down Time
Scroll for the photos, ones landing before Cameron marked herself in L.A. and amid sell-out concert tickets in the Big Apple. The former Disney star is currently on her first ever music tour, where it’s been Prada outfits and the blonde belting out tracks including her recently-released "We Belong."
Going super close-up in her opening shot, Dove snapped herself curled up amid white bedsheets, showing off clear skin, cute freckles, and dark brows contrasting her signature blonde locks. A swipe right brought more.

The Flawless Beauty face, who gained a like from gymnast McKayla Maroney, then went closed eyes and smiling in her next shot – here, fans saw the Powerpuff Girls star lying down and looking blissfully happy as she rocked a claw-like blue manicure and with one hand close to her face. Dove also flashed her lower arm tattoo.
A devil-like emoji was the only caption, with fans writing: "It’s the angel for me!" Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards tops comments with her "dreamy." Swipe for both photos below, scroll for more.
Opening Up On Mental Health
Dove marked World Mental Health Day earlier this week, bravely sharing a photo of herself in tears and telling fans:
"Some thoughts on world mental health day : crying on a doorstep." She added that "the thing that you are feeling that makes you feel like you do not belong here is absolutely the thing that we all share, the human condition is universal and painful. being alive is painful, and it misses no one."

Making Vulnerability Okay
Dove, who wears her heart on her sleeve and has told Byrdie that her self-care is "not always pretty" as she sometimes stays in bed until noon, continued:
"It’s in the being vulnerable that we realize there was nothing to be afraid of, anyway. it’s on the other side of the judgment of yourself and your pain, where the healing begins."
Dove made 2018 headlines for opening up about her anorexia nervosa recovery. In 2020, she revealed battles with both depression and anxiety.
