Blake Lively ‘Back To Business’ In Plunging Pantsuit

Blake Lively wowed the crowd in a plunging purple pantsuit that bared her enviable figure.

It's been quite a while since we've seen the actress in a full glam look since motherhood has been keeping her busy, but the blonde beauty is proudly "back to business" in her latest Instagram post, which has garnered over 2.5 million likes in less than a day.

Back To Business

"back to business", Lively captioned her post.

She was dressed in a Sergio Hudson pantsuit from the brand's fall/winter 2021 collection that featured an eye-popping purple hue. What's even more eye-popping is the suit's neckline, which was so deep that it almost bared her belly button.

Blake pulled off the risqué look very well. Power dressing in pantsuits has always been her thing, after all. There was a time in 2018 when the actress dressed almost exclusively in pantsuits during the promo tour of A Simple Favor.

Swifties Theory

We're not the only ones impressed with Lively's sartorial choices, Swifties also flocked to the comments section to offer their two cents.

Fans have theorized that the actress is hinting at a new collaboration with Taylor Swift. They think that the purple pantsuit could be a nod to Swift's Speak Now album, which featured the popstar in a purple dress in its cover art.

The theory is not too far-fetched, as the besties recently collaborated in the music video I Bet You Think About Me, which marked Lively's first directorial project.

Matching Looks

We don't know for sure if there is an upcoming Lively-Swift collab. Lively's glammed-up look was actually for date night with husband Ryan Reynolds, who was dapper in a purple pantsuit that matched his wife's outfit.

The couple went out to support friend and fellow actor Hugh Jackman, who's starring in the musical The Music Man on Broadway.

Fellow celebs, including Anne Hathaway and Mariska Hargitay, were also spotted attending the event.

Blake Lively's Upcoming Movies

Lively's return to power suiting could also mean that she's back to a busy schedule for 2022.

The actress is set to star and produce the film adaptation of the psychological thriller We Used to Live Here, which was acquired by Netflix. The story revolves around a homeowner who gets unwanted visitors who get stranded in her house.

She was also recently cast in the adaptation of Dark Horse comic's Lady Killer, to be penned and directed by Diablo Cody.
