The 39-year-old pop princess still had fans going wild over her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari when she deleted her Instagram yesterday – followed by 34 million, the feed documenting the "Toxic" singer’s life is now blank and not to be found.

The blonde, who has been making headlines as dad Jamie Spears files to end her 13 years of conservatorship, updated her Twitter today, explaining that her departure from Instagram is her taking a "break" to enjoy her engagement – Spears also confirmed that she will return to the platform.
"Don’t worry folks," the mom of two wrote, adding: "Just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement!!! I’ll be back soon." She threw in a ring and wink-face emoji into the note.

Earlier this week, Britney wound up front-page news for saying "yes" to Iranian Asghari, her boyfriend since 2016. The two met on the set of Spears’ "Slumber Party" music video. While fans congratulated the twice-divorced star, many pressured her to make Sam sign a prenup – Britney is worth an estimated $ 59 million.

Britney has been under the grip of 69-year-old Jamie Spears since 2008. She’s addressed a Los Angeles court judge twice this year in damning confesses over the conservatorship and, per sources, she truly believes it will end.
“She’ll believe he’s actually stepping down completely when it happens because it’s been so long and everyone keeps telling her he’s going to step down and nothing ever happens,” insiders at Hollywood Life state.
