CHILD benefit can provide eligible claimants with financial support if they’re raising a child and there are few limits on who can apply. High earning claimants may need to pay back some of what they received through their income tax and while this is only designed to affect those with large incomes, new warnings have emerged that basic rate taxpayers could soon be hit by the cost.
