COMIC RELIEF 2021 moved viewers with a beautiful tribute to emergency workers featuring the Proclaimers’ classic song Sunshine on Leith. Host David Tennant said “I’m crying” and viewers tweeted their tears, too. The Scottish band’s music was later turned into a musical and feature film while the track itself has become a favourite at funerals.
