UNIVERSAL CREDIT and other benefit claimants are set to be hit by a “double whammy” of rising inflation and interest rate problems over the coming months. Those with debt obligations are likely to need additional support in 2022 and as such, the DWP has been urged to bring forward planned payment uplifts.
