ARGENTINA has once again stepped up its plot to prise back the Falkland Islands by seizing on the 40th anniversary of the end of the Falklands War. The South American nation said 2022 would be the year to “raise awareness of Argentina’s sovereign right” to the British Overseas Territory – known in Spanish as Islas Malvinas – despite Britain winning a war over the territory in 1982.
