All signs point toward a juicy episode of General Hospital coming on Wednesday. The past couple of days have incorporated some flashbacks and timing shifts, and spoilers suggest that back-and-forth continues with the May 26 show.
Both Maxie and Peter have been putting together plans to control the delivery of baby Louise. Unfortunately, Maxie’s plan hit a massive snag on Tuesday that leaves Peter with a significant upper hand. However, he won’t necessarily be able to hold that position for long.
A Bold Move
Toward the end of Tuesday’s show, Peter’s fake nurse drugged Maxie. This was orchestrated by Peter, and his plan was that the fake nurse Chloe would get an unconscious Maxie to a flight he has standing by.
Peter plans to fly them out of town where the baby can be delivered with him present. Once Louise arrives safely, he plans for the three of them to take off for parts unknown. This is exactly the type of thing Maxie was desperate to avoid.
A Dangerous Risk
Peter ordered “Chloe” to get all the materials they would need to make this happen, including the drug she used to knock out Maxie. The fake Chloe does have a nursing background, although moving forward with this scheme could still go wrong in many ways.
Unfortunately, Maxie’s disappearance could fly under the radar for at least a little bit. Those close to her are expecting her to depart for a spa visit ahead of the baby’s birth. So, her being unreachable won’t shock most people.
Brook Lynn’s Likely Key
Maxie nearly told Spinelli about her plan, but he was interrupted by a call from Carly. Given what happened after he departed, it’s unfortunate he wasn’t looped in by her. Luckily, Brook Lynn will be counting on hearing from Maxie soon.
Before she was drugged, Maxie connected with Bobbie to quickly talk through their plans, and she’s been in close touch with Brook Lynn. The two were expecting to talk again as soon as Maxie was settled and ready for Brook Lynn to meet up with her.
Brook Lynn’s Scrambling Too
While Brook Lynn waits, General Hospital spoilers from SheKnows Soaps note she’ll be dealing with Valentin. Will his proximity to her cause issues in her plans to connect with Maxie?
Another likely major complication is the upcoming tumble Peter takes down the stairs. General Hospital spoilers have teased a glimpse of this, but nobody yet knows how it happens or how it might impact his plan regarding Maxie.
