Harry Styles recently filmed a new movie with actress Emma Corrin and fans are waiting on the edge of their seats for the movie’s upcoming release.
On the heels of his role in Don’t Worry Darling, which was directed by his rumored girlfriend, Olivia Wilde, and due out in 2022, the former One Direction bandmate nabbed the role of Tom Burgess in My Policeman, which is inspired by Bethen Roberts’ 2012 novel of the same name, as Corrin took the role of his wife Marion.
‘My Policeman’ Follows A Love Triangle In The 1950s
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly My Policeman is about a 1950s love triangle in Brigton, England between a policeman, his school teacher wife, and another man, museum curator Patrick Hazelwood, who is played by actor David Dawson.
Although Styles’ character is in love with Hazelwood, the climate of their day and age leads him to take the safer route and marry the character played by Corrin. However, just because Burgess marries Marion doesn’t mean he’s done with Hazelwood and, as expected, plenty of tension and drama ensues.
‘My Policeman’ Could Be Released Later This Year
The film, which does not yet have an official release date was directed by Tony-winner Michael Grandage and produced by Amazon Studios.
Although an exact date for the movie’s release may not be confirmed for some time, L’Officiel suggested that the film could be released sooner rather than later.
According to the outlet, a release date will likely be set for either the end of this year or early next year. And, after it is released in theaters, it will likely become available on Amazon Prime Video.
Harry Styles And David Dawson Will Reportedly Have Two Sex Scenes
In April of this year, a report from The Sun claimed Styles would be involved in two male-on-male sex scenes with Dawson.
"The plan is to shoot two romps between Harry and David, then another scene where Harry is naked on his own," a movie insider shared at the time. "Not much is going to be left to the imagination. Harry is throwing himself into this new role and is really excited about the challenge, even though it’s a daunting task."
Filming On ‘My Policeman’ Wrapped In June
On June 16, producer Robbie Rogers confirmed that filming on My Policeman was complete by sharing a slideshow of photos with his fans and followers on Instagram that included Styles and Corrin.
"That’s a wrap! Thank you everyone [Amazon Studios and [Jennifer Salke] and a huge thank you to our entire cast and crew! I love each and every one of you! We had incredible time making this film and I can’t wait for people to see it!" he wrote in the caption.
