HARRISON FORD was not Steven Spielberg’s first choice to play Indiana Jones. The director originally hired a well-known TV star but the actor dramatically pulled out – a fact Ford “hates” hearing about. This wasn’t Spielberg’s only issue with the series, as he later disagreed with George Lucas over the fourth film in the series, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, prompting a huge change-up.
