Kacey Musgraves is thinking pink, and she’s got the photos to prove it. The 33-year-old singer made headlines ahead of Thanksgiving for showing off a trend adored by celebrities during the first wave of the pandemic – while model Kaia Gerber rocked it in 2020, it’s back with the likes of pop princess Britney Spears also going pink-tint.
Posting to Instagram on November 23, Kacey showcased her fluffy and pink hair, with selfies seeing her both bundled-up for winter and going skimpy.
Think Pink
Scroll for the photos, ones showing Kacey looking gorgeous as she went close-up and in her car. The songwriter was pulling off flawless and funky, rocking her new pink hair down and wearing a fuzzy and cozy white sweater, with the look also bringing in a near-hood finish.

Kacey then returned while sporting blonde locks for an exciting announcement, telling her 2.3 million followers: "New for the v133 winter 2021 special edition of @vmagazine đ¤ I sat and talked to my friend and editor-at-large, stephen gan, about my life, upcoming tour, our mutual love of japan, among other things. Artistry Through Looks
Kacey received high praise from makeup artist Moani Lee back in 2019. Lee opened up to The Evening Standard stating:
âKacey is so particular, in the best way possible, about the full 360 experience of her artistry,â adding: âIt’s definitely rooted in her songwriting and her music, but it translates into the visual aspects of her show choices down to the clothing, makeup, and hair."
âThe creative conversations we have as a team are so important. My references are drawn from so many things depending on the mood of the piece weâre doing with Kacey," Lee continued.
Pink Hair Trend
It’s back – much like Ugg boots and mom jeans. Pink hair is gracing the beauty queen accounts on TikTok, and COVID seems to have ushered in the trend of home-dye kits. Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski has rocked the pink-haired look, makeup mogul Kylie Jenner did back in the day, and it’s also been seen on the likes of "Roar" singer Katy Perry, reality star Kim Kardashian, plus rapper Doja Cat.
Kacey’s post even saw her likened to supermodel Hailey Bieber. "Thought this was Haley Bieber and was like: I donât follow Haley Bieber," one user wrote.
