Season Two of the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant finally wrapped up, and on-screen besties Kaley Cuoco and Zosia Mamet had a tear-filled farewell. The women who are real-life best friends watched their finale episode together and recreated their "boop" moment.
About two months ago, they revealed that they "booped" each other with matching tattoos, but fans didn't yet know what it meant. Luckily, the final episode of The Flight Attendant revealed that.
The First BoopCuoco wore a casual tan dress with a plunging neckline and wrapped her dark blonde hair in a messy hive for the last episode, while Mamet mirrored her hairstyle, albeit with a smaller hive. The ladies poked each other in the nose while sounding out "boop."
They told E! Daily Pop that it became their ritual while filming the last episodes. Not only that, but Mamet noted that other co-stars caught the "boop" bug and started doing the same with their friends.
A Teary FarewellWhile watching the last episode together, Cuoco noted that Mamet teared up, causing her to laugh. The best friends watched the episode in matching comfortable grey sweatshirts and made a reaction video for Cuoco's 7.3 million Instagram followers. She wrote,
"When you’re best friends IRL, and crying watching yourself play best friends on TV #boop ❣️❣️"Their bond grew over the years, especially when they moved in together for the second season of The Flight Attendant. Together Mamet and Cuoco dealt with the latter's divorce from her Equestrian husband, Karl Cook.
Supporting Each Other Through It AllThey made their friendship official with matching boop tattoos in April, but the love is deeper than ink on the hand. Cuoco, 36, said Mamet, 34, visited her on her days off to ensure the newly-divorced lead actress was okay. Although it's a minute gesture, Cuoco said it meant a lot to her because the little things make the biggest deal, in her opinion.
Mamet also approves of her new relationship with Tom Pelphrey, saying he loves Cuoco very much, and that's what matters.
Hollywood Official With TomLast Monday, the new couple made their public debut at The Flight Attendant's executive producer, Greg Berlanti's Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony. After soft-launching their relationship with cute pictures, first with a vague polaroid and later with a kissing post, the duo decided to make their relationship "red carpet" official.
Following their reveal, Cuoco and Pelphrey have been vocal about their feelings for each other, as seen by their millions of followers online.
