Kelly Ripa was today looking her best and sending out her best smile as a bit of a joke dressing rule on Live! was announced. The 50-year-old talk show queen, last month in the news for taking a week off the series she’s hosted since 2001, was today back to being pepped-up in a pre-show video shared to the Live! With Kelly and Ryan Instagram. Together with co-star Ryan Seacrest, mom of three Kelly has been welcoming a new announcer on the set, and Deja Vu even joined in the dress code.

Scroll for the video. Kelly, whose outfits come with their own #KellysFashionFinder on Instagram, was, as usual, looking beyond stylish. The former All My Children actress, filmed approaching the desk and in a slinky, mid-sleeve green print dress, jokingly apologized to 46-year-old Seacrest, saying:
“Hello Ryan Seacrest. Sorry, Deja and I didn’t call to tell you…on Tuesdays we wear green!”
Ryan joked back, saying he should be informed on a “text” group, or WhatsApp. Deja Vu has been guest announcing since Thursday last week.

Kelly then proved she can keep up with the kids by saying: “As soon as we talked about the Beyonce song, it was on the radio.” Also wearing green was media personality Deja Vu – the new face to the set comes as Ryan last month made headlines for being joined by no less than three guest co-hosts including 42-year-old Maria Menounos and comedian Ali Wentworth. Kelly, who recently made headlines as husband Mark Consuelos celebrated his 50th birthday on March 31, has been making stories of her own following her own 50th last October.
Ready To Quit ‘Live’?
Ripa, who did tease that old friend Ryan Seacrest might be the real reason she’s sticking around, hinted at a possible exit from morning TV, revealing she’s been up to something else. Speaking to Parade,the pint-sized star told the media outlet:
“I’ve been writing a lot, so my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much.” Scroll for more photos below.

Kelly wasn’t yet 50 when she spoke to The Cut and referred to her body as a “Peter Pan” one.
The cardio lover, who made a health food exemption with her pre-Christmas McRib sandwich last year, said:
“I was talking to a cardiologist and he said to make sure your heart beats out of your chest every day. The more you exercise, the healthier it is. And I can be honest: My body looks like Peter Pan no matter what I do.”
