Kim Kardashian is working out in a bikini and seemingly not bothered by a massive media storm as she finds herself named in a “looted” Roman statue forfeiture claim. The 40-year-old makeup mogul and queen bee of reality television has been named in a civil forfeiture claim by the U.S. government, one involving an ancient Roman statue seized back in 2016 at an L.A. port and one Italian officials suspect was looted from Italy. Despite fronting media outlets as 43-year-old estranged husband Kanye West is said to have made the purchase, Kim herself is staying silent, although she did let a spokesperson do the talking as they said she “never purchased this piece” and that it’s “the first that she has learned of its existence.”
The limestone artwork, called the Fragment of Myron Samian Athena was reportedly part of a $ 750,000 shipment in Kim’s name and seized by U.S. customs officials back in 2016. The E! star was, per TMZ, only made aware of the purchase this week.

On Thursday evening, the SKIMS founder updated her Instagram and there was no talk of statues or of “Ye” rapper West, whom Kim filed for divorce from earlier this year. The star was all curves and solid muscle while kneeling at dusk and in a jaw-dropping workout shot, showing off new peroxide-blonde hair and an open-stomach and plunging black swimsuit.

“Court documents filed last month claim that the five-ton shipment — valued at nearly $ 750,000 and addressed to “Kim Kardashian dba Noel Roberts Trust” in Woodland Hills — was seized by Customs and Border Protection in 2016 under suspicion that its entry to the U.S. violated the Cultural Property Implementation Act.”

While husband Kanye was this year estimated as having a net worth of $ 6.6 billion as he inks a lucrative deal with GAP, Kim is also seeing healthy profits, ones now welcoming her into the billionaire club thanks to beauty brand KKW Beauty and clothing empire SKIMS.
2014-married West is said to be “accepting” that Kim has filed, with sources telling Hollywood Life: “Kanye took his time because he was holding out hope that he could fix things,” also adding: “Clearly that’s not happening, and he’s finally accepted it.”
