Lisa Rinna opened up about her current relationship with her longtime Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Erika Jayne, on the August 11 episode of Andy Cohen’s late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live.
After being accused of being too easy on Jayne amid her legal scandal with husband Thomas Girardi, who is accused of ripping off his former clients for millions, Rinna admitted that when it come to the Bravo series’ cast, there’s no one closer to her than Jayne.
Lisa Rinna Is Way Closer With Erika Jayne Than She Was With Denise Richards
"You know, I talk to Erika when Erika wants to talk. I can’t really give it a time frame… Let’s put it this way, I’m closer with Erika than I’ve been with anybody in this circle," Rinna admitted.
Rinna went on to say that while she’s been accused of treating Denise Richards unfairly while failing to ask any questions about Jayne’s legal drama, her relationship with Jayne is much different than her relationship with Richards.
"I’m way closer to Erika than I ever was close to Denise Richards. That’s the truth. I think that needs to be said," she shared.
Lisa Rinna Claims Denise Richards Was An Acquaintance
"I think that’s important news," Rinna continued of her revelation regarding her relationship with Richards. "I know everyone thinks Denise and I were close. We were acquaintances much like I am with Garcelle. I’ve known them for many years but they’re like party friends. We all have these party friends that we’re not close to. I have become close fiends with Erika over the six years. I’m much closer to her than I’ve been to any of those women. So that’s very important to know I think.”
Harry Hamlin Steers Clear Of ‘RHOBH’ Drama
Also during Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Rinna said that while Harry Hamlin was present during their dramatic lunch earlier this season, he didn’t see Sutton Stracke’s dispute with Crystal Kung-Minkoff, or her comments about the newbie’s "ugly leather pants."
"He didn’t see it. That’s the truth. You know, Harry made this beautiful lunch for us and then he scadaddled. So he wasn’t really around. He saw the aftermath of it and he was like, ‘Wait. What just happened?’ And I was like, ‘Well, it’s too much to explain,’" she shared.
Erika Jayne Did Not Invest In Rinna Beauty
As the show continued, Rinna shut down reports claiming Jayne invested in her beauty brand, Rinna Beauty.
“She did not invest in my makeup line. Let’s get that really straight right now. That was a very terrible rumor," she noted. "I mean, I would never borrow money from anybody. I have a partner I’m in business with. Erika did not give me a dime."
