MARBURG virus was spotted in West Africa earlier this week, the World Health Organization confirmed, when a patient tested positive and subsequently died of the Ebola-like disease. A doctor has now warned people in the UK to remain “vigilant” for any signs or symptoms of the Marburg virus.
