Matt Damon may be one of the most successful actors of his time but at home, he’s just "dad."
During an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning on July 18, 50-year-old Damon, whose career stems back to the 1980s, when he scored roles in Mystic Pizza and Field of Dreams, admitted that when it comes to his Oscar winning Good Will Hunting, his 15-year-old daughter, Isabella, has no interest in seeing the film.
“You know, my 15-year-old refuses to see it,” Damon said amid the interview, via Page Six.
Matt Damon Says Isabelle Likes To ‘Give Me Sh-t’
Damon went on to say that Isabella is actually uninterested in all of his films.
"She doesn’t want to see any movies that I’m in that she thinks might be good,” he admitted, noting that his daughter’s shade is in good fun.
“She just likes to give me sh-t,” Damon said. “My daughter said, ‘Yeah, remember that movie you did, “The Wall”?’ I said, ‘It was called “The Great Wall.”‘ She goes, ‘Dad, there’s nothing great about that movie.’”
"She keeps my feet firmly on the ground,” Damon added.

Damon, who is also dad to 22-year-old step-daughter Alexia Barroso, 12-year-old daughter Gia Zavala, and 10-year-old Stella, who he shares with wife Luciana Barroso, went on to say that as the years go on, fans are connecting with him less and less over Good Will Hunting.
“Sure, yeah — fewer and fewer. You know, younger people don’t know it as much,” he admitted of the 1997 movie that garnered him longtime friend and Ben Affleck an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
Matt Damon Met His Wife At A Club
Damon and Barroso got married in 2005 after crossing paths at a Miami nightclub where she was bartending.
“Matt’s story is that he saw me across the room and there was a light on me. And I’m like: ‘Yeah, it was a nightclub — there were lights everywhere!’” she told Vogue Australia in 2018. “But he had started getting recognized and asked for pictures and autographs, and then it got kind of aggressive … so he came and hid behind my bar.”
In August 2019, USA Today confirmed Damon honored all for of his daughters by getting their names tattooed on his upper arm.
As the outlet revealed, Damon visited well-known tattoo artist Daniel Stone, also known as Winter Stone, for his tattoos, which are listed in order of his children’s ages and written in a delicate script.
Prior to inking his daughters’ names on his arm, Damon paid tribute to his wife by getting the word "Lucy," her nickname, permanently written on his arm.
