Antonio Brown continues to prove why he'll never set foot on an NFL gridiron again every time he opens his mouth or takes to social media.
Once considered one of the most impactful wideouts in the game, Brown's erratic behavior has led most people to think he's got mental issues to deal with. Yet, he refuses even to consider that possibility.
He Took Another Shot At Alex GuereroIn his latest rant, the former Steelers star took another shot at Tom Brady's trainer Alex Guerrero. Months ago, Brown claimed that Guerrero owed him $ 100,000, even though it was Brown who wanted to train with him:
"Alex Guerra [sic] You think i won't have u smacked at TB12 boy stop playing with me !" Brown wrote in a now-deleted tweet. "Boy getting paid by bucks [sic] n taking players money too."Brown Says Brady Is 'Manipulating The Game'If that wasn't enough, Brown also called out Brady for skipping the Bucs' training camp. It's not the first time that he takes a shot at Brady, the only person who took a chance and reached out when the rest of the league turned his back on him:
"Tom brady manipulate the game gets 14 days [to] go home get his mind [right] lol. Now u see the difference. Put that s–t on," Brown tweeted. "Still no justice for the Real," he added in a follow-up tweet.Brady's Handling 'Personal Things'Brady and the Bucs had already agreed on his absence even before the start of training camp. He claims he has personal matters to solve, and while not many people buy that story, his team was always on board with it:
"He's going to deal with some personal things," Bowles said, as quoted by Pro Football Talk. "This is something we talked about before training camp started. We allotted this time because he wanted to get in and get chemistry with the guys and go through two weeks of training camp, knowing he wasn't going to play the first two games."He's Earned His StripesTom Brady doesn't need to be out there in training camp. He knows it, the Bucs know it, his teammates know it, Roger Goodell knows it, everybody knows it. Also, it's not like he's not training every day back home.
Brady has earned his stripes, and superstars can get away with things most players can't. It may not be fair, but it's just how it is, and Antonio Brown seems to be the only one who has a problem with that. Go figure.
Maybe if he hadn't spent the past couple of years acting out, getting into everybody's face, and even bailing on his team mid-game, he'd also get a pass.
