NFL Rumors: 3 Destinations For N’Keal Harry

Back in 2019, people around the NFL were lauding Bill Belichick for landing one of the biggest steals of the Draft.

Fast-forward to today and either the New England Patriots' system wasn't for him, the revolving door at the QB position hurt his production, or N'Keal Harry was flat-out a bust. Whatever the case, he just didn't live up to the hype.

Harry Needs A Change Of Scenery

Harry entered the league with plenty of praise and seemingly had a sky-high upside. The physical intangibles were there, the route-running skills were there, and it always felt like it was a matter of time before he had the breakout game that would help him turn the corner.

That never happened.

But Harry is still a young player on a team-friendly deal and who the Pats would love to get rid of. With that in mind, these 3 teams could try and make a run at him.

Atlanta Falcons

The Patriots were a strong suitor for Calvin Ridley before his gambling scandal and suspension, and Harry was reportedly a part of every trade package.

That means that at the very least, the Falcons have watched plenty of tape on him and like what they've seen. Also, it's not like they have a lot of options on the passing game before Kyle Pitts.

The Falcons will go through a transition year with Matt Ryan heading to Indianapolis and Marcus Mariota now taking the reins. But if Mariota struggles again and rookie QB Desmond Ridder gets a chance, it would only make sense that he has more weapons at his disposal.

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are in a tough spot right now. Deebo Samuel could sit out the season and Trey Lance would have even fewer options in the passing game, especially if Brandon Aiyuk doesn't step up.

While Harry is by no means a suitable replacement for Samuel, nor should he be included in any potential deal for the USC product, he'd still add more depth to a team desperately craving more weapons.

Other than the injury-prone George Kittle, Aiyuk, and Samuel, there isn't too much to work with on Kyle Shanahan's new-look offense.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers signed Sammy Watkins and drafted Christian Watson but we all know that may not be enough to overcome their recent woes in the postseason.

Aaron Rodgers needs more talent around him and, while Harry hasn't done much to prove that he can be a solid player in this league, he could still be a solid low-risk/high-reward pickup at a very reasonable price.

Simply put, the Packers should look to make a run at every available wideout in the league, Harry included.
