Sutton Stracke and Erika Jayne were recently seen bonding on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
While the two women have butted heads in the past, and are expected to be seen in a intense argument later on in season 13, Stracke took it upon herself to offer some advice to Jayne as she attempted to navigate through her messy split from estranged husband Thomas Girardi.
Speaking about the matter on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show, Stracke explained why she reached out.
Sutton Stracke Learned From Her Divorce From Thibeault ‘Christian’ Stracke
"I think when you go through a really big divorce like that with a lot of finance stuff involved, it’s really heavy, especially when you are a woman who is not in charge of the finances," Stracke explained.
According to Stracke, who joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019 for filming on season 10, she learned a lot from her own divorce from Thibeault "Christian" Stracke and felt she should share what she learned with her co-star.
Sutton Stracke Came Out Of Her Divorce Stronger
Looking back, Stracke said she leaned from her messy divorce and hoped to be a person Jayne could lean on as she went through her own split.
"I learned a lot from my own divorce. I came out of it stronger but it took me a long, long time to get there. When you’re going through a divorce like that, with a really big-time attorney, You’ve gotta lean on somebody and I wanted to be there for her," she stated. "I kind of knew what she’d be facing in a difficult divorce like that.”
Garcelle Beauvais Wanted To Be Supportive To Erika Jayne Amid Her Divorce
In her own segment of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show, Garcelle Beauvais said that when it came to the cast’s reaction to Jayne’s breakup news, they all wanted to be supportive of her.
"I think right out of the gate, we felt for her and wanted to be supportive. Nobody has a great time going through divorce and then add, on top of it it becomes public and people can weigh in and people know your personal life. It’s tough," she admitted.
Sutton Wanted To Help Erika Jayne Uncover Thomas Girardi’s Assets
Also on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show, Stracke looked back on the moment in which she and her cast mates learned Girardi had a secret home in La Quinta.
"I was all in on this part. ‘We are going to find this house,’" she recalled. "’In divorce, you’ve gotta uncover. We are going to find assets. That’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to find all the assets that Tom has.’”
