Bethenny Frankel took to her Instagram page amid a winter getaway with her 11-year-old daughter, Bryn Casey Hoppy, and shared a couple of makeup free selfies with her fans and followers.
"When we need a wake up, no makeup selfie…. #nofilter," Frankel began in the caption of her December 23 photo, which featured the 51-year-old former Real Housewives of New York City cast member smiling in a large jacket with a gray beanie.
Frankel also shared a zoomed in selfie with the post.
Being Real With Her Fans
In Frankel’s zoomed in selfie, she was seen with her eyebrows raised and wrinkles on her forehead. And, as her caption continued, she said that she was going to continuously share these types of photos, meaning those that feature her in a natural form, with her online audience to remind them of her reality.
"I’ll post these for you periodically to remind you that no makeup and natural is as real as we can be," she continued in her candid post.
Stands By A Good Night's Sleep
According to Frankel, she has yet to come across any products or procedures that rival a good night sleep. So, when it comes to her beauty regimen, it’s all about some shut eye, as opposed to spending hundreds, or even thousands on things that may or may not even last.
"I haven’t seen any surgery or products that can compete with a good night’s sleep. There may come a day that I’ll ask you if it’s time to get some work done, but for today I’m happy just the way I am," Frankel shared, adding the hash tag for "This is me."
A Message For Her Haters
In the final message of her December 23 post on Instagram, Frankel, who starred on eight seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, had a message addressed specifically to her haters.
"PS. For the haters, I gave you a no Botox wrinkled forehead pic as well….just to avoid any confusion," she confirmed.
In the comments section of the post, Frankel was met with plenty of comments from her fans and followers, some of whom were supportive and others who questioned her authenticity.
