Actress Salma Hayek surprised her 18 million Instagram followers with her most recent share, a short video clip in which she did her best Britney Spears impression.
The clip was set to the sound of Britney Spears’ hit song “Baby One More Time,” and featured four back-up dancers who gave Salma some support in her routine. She included a hashtag in the caption that implied the clip was part of a social media challenge tied to one of her latest projects, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard.
Choreography Queen
Salma even made sure to tag pop star Britney Spears‘ own Instagram page in the caption, alerting her to the challenge featuring one of her hits. The video was filmed in a large space with hardwood flooring and plain white walls. A mirror positioned in the back of the space offered a reflection of the five dancers, and also showed a male figure recording the clip on a cell phone.
Salma was casual in a loose-fitting v-neck T-Shirt and some wide-legged yoga pants. She accessorized with a few rings, sneakers, and hoop earrings.
Spears Style
The four back-up dancers she had gathered for the sassy video clip were likewise all dolled up in monochromatic looks. Most simply rocked black bottoms and a black top, but one male dancer opted to go shirtless in just a pair of black jeans. One of the female dancers added a bit of edge to her look by opting for leather trousers instead.
Salma’s brunette locks were styled in a middle part with loose waves, and she whipped her silky tresses around as she busted out the dance moves.
Major Attitude
Salma fully embraced the choreography, shaking her hips from side-to-side and beckoning to the camera. She mouthed the words of the song throughout the clip, and towards the end, she even executed a quick series of punches before raising one leg in a roundhouse motion that showed off some serious athleticism.
The clip ended with Salma and her four backup dancers falling to the ground for a dramatic conclusion In the caption of the post, she encouraged her fans to show her their own versions of the video.
Natural Stunner
Her fans loved the silly share, and the post racked up over 159,200 likes within an hour of going live.
“You legend,” one fan wrote simply, followed by a heart emoji.
“Those head rolls are beyond amazing!!! woo hooo!!! Get it!!!!!” dancer and television personality Carrie Ann Inaba remarked in the comments section.
Salma loves to share all kinds of throwbacks with her eager Instagram audience. Just a few days ago, as The Inquisitr reported, she shared a steamy throwback snap taken in what she referred to as “the good old days.”
