Selena Gomez is on Instagram Live right now, but anyone missing the 28-year-old’s Live Stream today still gets a bite of the action – via a recent permanent post. The former Disney star and Rare Beauty founder is fresh from an update announcing the expansion of her 2020-founded makeup brand, with a stunning photo showing the "Wolves" singer all catwing eyeliner and hoop earrings.
Selena has now joined forces with Sephora, and her post was quite literally a dose of #perfectstrokes.
Big Beauty News
Scroll for the photos. Gomez, worth an estimated $ 75 million and continuing to rake it in via her PUMA ambassador status, TV royalties, record sales, and merch, is now letting fans know that her Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara is shoppable at both Sephora and her Rare Beauty website.
Stunning fans against a white backdrop and wearing a full face of matte makeup complete with warming blush and thick lashes, Selena posed in a simple black top, with bronze hoop earrings being the only accessory.

The Wizards of Waverley Place alum, followed by 258 million on Instagram, took to her caption, writing:
"I’m excited to share Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara is now available only @Sephora and RareBeauty.com. While I was creating this product, I learned that finding a mascara that works for you is just as personal as finding your go-to foundation."
"This mascara truly works for everyone and I cannot wait for you to try it! Tag me and @RareBeauty in your before and after with #perfectstrokes," she added. More photos after the snap.
A Little More ‘Lift’
Selena, rising in mogul status as her ethical brand also supports mental health causes and regularly sees itself on most recc’d lists, had introduced the new product just days earlier, writing:
"You guys have asked for this since @RareBeauty launched and after 2 years in the making, I’m excited to introduce Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara. I was inspired to create a universal mascara that works for every lash type, giving you more lift, length, curl and volume – and that’s exactly what we did."
Doing Away With Misconceptions
Gomez, a kidney transplant survivor and depression and anxiety warrior, cuts out the BS. The ex to "Peaches" singer Justin Bieber made herself clear ahead of the 2020 launch, stating: "With social media, it’s obvious to say that there’s such a huge misconception of beauty. There’s just so much pressure."
Selena’s cosmetics endeavors see her joining celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga. Also offering beauty lines are singer Halsey and The Hills alum Kristin Cavallari, plus reality star Savannah Chrisley.
