SUE PERKINS, 51, is best known for being one half of the comedy duo Mel and Sue with long term friend Mel Giedroyc, 53. Their friendship which began over 32 years ago at Cambridge university was suddenly put under strain when Sue got some news that “destroyed her life from the inside out”.
