Zendaya On Playing Rue

In another photo, Zendaya made an outfit change and donned an eye-catching blazer from Mugler, which was styled with a short skirt and Jennifer Fisher jewelry.

The Emmy-winning actress shared her love for her troubled character Rue, who she says is special to her.

“She lives in me in a weird way … I don’t have to go searching for her," she shared. “Even with the Spider-Man movies, I’ll talk to the director and ask, ‘Is that MJ-y enough?’ I try to find it again. With Rue, she’s just there.”

The February Fashion issue of the magazine celebrated the women of the show because all of them definitely deserve the spotlight they are enjoying now.

Rue's Fate On Season 2

As for Rue's fate on the upcoming episodes, Zendaya hinted there will be some redemption ahead.

“The ending of the season was going to be very different and then halfway through, Sam and I were like, ‘We just can’t leave Rue here. We gotta put some f**king hope in this show,' Zendaya said in the interview.

“Episode eight is where we’ll get that sense of redemption … that you aren’t the worst thing you’ve ever done in your life. I think Rue deserves it, and I think anyone who suffers with the same thing she does deserves it.”
